Updated 13.00pm on Wednesday 30 July.

There is an issue with the IT systems that service local GP practices across Bradford District and Craven.

Practice teams across Bradford District and Craven continue to experience disruption to access to some systems, we are incredibly grateful to practice teams who are working hard to continue providing care under these difficult circumstances.

All practices are open but you may experience delays when contacting your practice or when attending your appointment. Please continue to attend any booked appointments unless you are contacted directly.

Please be kind and patient with practice staff—they are doing everything they can to help. IT issues like this are outside of GP practices control.

We are working with local hospitals, community services, 111 and other NHS partners to put temporary workarounds in place where needed, to help reduce the impact on patients.

If you are struggling to get through to your GP and need help now, visit 111.nhs.uk or call 111 – they can help and will know what to do if you can’t reach your practice. Please only go to A&E for serious injuries or emergencies, and call 999 if it’s life-threatening.

We can reassure patients that this is not a cyber security incident, and there has been no compromise to the safety or confidentiality of patient data.

We would like to extend our sincere and heartfelt apologies to the patients affected.

The Health Informatics Service (THIS) is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Patients with complaints or concerns can email wyicb.pals@nhs.net.
